At St. Andrews International School, Green Valley, our children participate in school trips throughout the year. They are connected to the learning taking place in class and are designed to engage and stimulate children to promote discussion and inquiry.
Real learning can take place when real connections are made and field trips are therefore an integral part of learning.
St. Andrews uses recommended standard adult/child ratios when going on field trips. Teachers may organise parental help with field trips, depending on circumstances. Class teachers will inform parents of upcoming trips and provide a detailed letter and consent form.
Some of our recent trips have included a history visit to Vietnam, a Chinese Temple art trip and a Secondary trip to Taiwan.
