Primary Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator: Faye Wood
Faye taught in the UK for nine years, before joining us in 2019. Faye was a Science Coordinator for three years, a leader of a mini school provision working with disadvantaged students entering Secondary with low literacy levels and has led teaching and learning in a consultancy role. She is excited about her role as PYP Coordinator where she can continue her passion towards improving and innovating teaching and learning. In her free time, Faye enjoys reading, swimming and travelling.
Early Years Co-ordinator: Lauren Fellows
Lauren originally trained to be a teacher in Scotland and has taught Early Years in a number of places including Scotland, England, Kenya and now at St Andrews in Thailand since 2015. During her various posts she has gained valuable leadership opportunities ranging from Art Co-ordinator, Head of EAL, Early Years SENCO, Early Years Admissions and is currently working at St Andrews as the Early Years Co-ordinator. Some of her pastimes include snowboarding, running, football, cooking and travelling especially in the Far East.
Primary Maths Co-ordinator: Andrew O’Hagan
Andrew joined St. Andrews in 2018 teaching Business and Economics, after spending 4 years teaching at a Primary School in Bangkok, where he held the role of year group leader for Year 6. He was also responsible for ensuring the successful transition of primary students to secondary. Andrew also has experience teaching in primary schools in the UK and South Korea. He enjoys travelling around Asia, especially in the mountains of north Thailand and Vietnam, and is a keen runner.
Primary Literacy Co-ordinator: Emma Dusting
Emma is from the UK, and arrived at St Andrews in 2012. She has extensive experience of teaching throughout Primary and is currently teaching Year 3 as well as being the Primary Literacy Co-ordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs and spending time with her family. Both of her children attend the school.
Primary Pastoral Co-ordinator: Yann O’Connell
Yann is from the UK, having taught in England for 5 years before coming to Thailand. He has experience teaching a range of Primary age groups and teaching French. He is excited about starting his new role as Pastoral Co-ordinator as well as continuing his work in developing and improving PSHE across the primary school. In his free time he enjoys a range of sports, travelling and over-priced socks.
