Island Community points
Island Community points are awarded to students by teachers for their academic work, sports events, quizzes, drama and music competitions and generally for their behavior and effort throughout school life. Throughout the year there are competitions, which are always conducted in the spirit of friendly competition and good sportsmanship, with opportunities being given for demonstration of excellence in: the attributes of the learner profile; academics, music, sports, behaviour and other areas.
Points are achieved throughout the academic year, but broken down with running totals being announced every half term. At the end of the academic year, points for each Island are totalled and the island cup is awarded to the Island with the most points.
