Enterprise challenge for Year 11 in partnership with the Bamboo School
This week we hosted our second visit from the students of the Bamboo School in Buriram, which was set up by the Mechai Viravaidya Foundation. All thirty students in the Year 11 cohort took part in an exciting enterprise challenge where they had to use their knowledge of agriculture and project development to identify and evaluate potential sites within our school grounds. The students were also able to show off their talents when asked to perform together on their Ukuleles to our Year 3 students and then to all of our students at breaktime. It is quite amazing how this simple instrument promotes such effective team work and a collective purpose - our students really appreciated the performances. It is fantastic to see Green Valley forging strong links with the Bamboo School and we are looking forward to these growing and developing into many more exciting projects and visits in the near future.
