Primary Invitational Games
At Green Valley we hosted our annual Primary Invitational Games and welcomed four visiting schools: St Christophers from Penang and the other St Andrews Schools from our group in Bangkok: Sathorn, Dusit and Sukhumvit 107. This is always a great, fun-packed tournament that helps to prepare our athletes for the upcoming Primary FOBISIA games in May. We kicked off with the swimming event where there were some nail-biting races with split second finishes. There was a terrific team spirit throughout the afternoon from all the competitors, coaches and parents.
The second day of the Primary Invitational Games started with T-ball - it was brilliant to see the students showcase their skills: catching, throwing, batting and running the bases. There were some very close games with students employing all their knowledge and skills in this complex game to get players out and claim the trophies. Due to torrential rain, unfortunately the football competition and athletics had to be cancelled, but teams still enjoyed many indoor activities including 3 on 3 basketball, tag, zumba and a disco. Thank you to all staff and the PTG for organising this event, and to our participants from all schools for their terrific spirit during the tournament.
