School Fair Fosters Community Spirit
On Thursday November 16 the school celebrated it’s annual School Fair. The School Fair is organised by Year 12 students who are supported by teachers, parents and other secondary students. As well as being a fun community event, the School Fair also raises money for the many different charities that we support through our IB CAS programme. This year the School Fair raised 125,250B which will now be used to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves. This sum included a donation of 10,800 from Khun Sukanya (the mother of Punch in Year 8) as the result of the silent auction of a handbag.
Congratulations to all of our raffle winners, especially Roman in Year 5 who won the major prize, a Samsung phone! Thank you to all the parents and teachers who donated raffle prizes or ran stalls on the day, your contributions helped to make the Fair a great success. Congratulations and well done also to the secondary students on playing music and organising fun and interesting game booths. The most successful game booth of the afternoon was the “Dunk Tank” that was run by Mr. Frost and the School Prefects.
