Close competition in the annual sports day.
Secondary Sports Day kicked off with the year 7 and 8 girls leaping into action in the sprint program. School records were broken throughout the day, a highlight being Wes Pankhursts 11.8s 100m sprint! This year the track events featured a large number of participants and races were competitive and exciting in all age groups. Field events were also extremely competitive among students, with some events proving too close to call. At the end of the day there must be a winner and after a tense Island Community tug-o-war competition, it was Samet who came out the victors. Overall, it was great to see students taking part and striving to perform their very best. A big thank you to students who showed their support of one another throughout the day and the great island community spirit.
