Macbeth Reloaded is a smash!

This was Macbeth as you’ve never seen it before. This was Macbeth Reloaded a comic adaptation of Shakespeare’s immortal tragedy adapted by Michelle Taylor & Doug Heron and directed by Doug Heron. It was a hectic performance schedule with an evening show on Weds 30th November and then 2 shows on Thursday in the afternoon and another evening showing - all the cast did really well to maintain their focus and their energy for this 24 hour blast of drama. All of the actors were magnificent and the show really did include something for everyone with singing, dancing and even intense Shakespearean soliloquies. Special mention to Mr. Greener for pretending that IT was boring and Mr. Mc Gee for appearing as a biker. These cameo roles really brought the house down! The musical numbers and dramatic effects provided by Mr. Ramsay’s musicians were a wonderful addition to the proceedings and we hope this partnership of music and drama will long continue! A huge shout out as well to the teachers who helped with all the rehearsals and backstage : Mr Wooley, Ms. Mahon and Mrs. Taylor and Khun Suree, Manit and Amnuay for all the technical support. Lastly a very big thank you to the PTG and in particular Beatrice for the lovely food on Weds & Thurs nights.
