At St. Andrews Green Valley, we’re proud to be an authorised IB PYP school. By combining the Primary Years Programme with the British National Curriculum, we create a rich and dynamic learning environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and discover their passions.
The PYP nurtures curiosity and independence through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Our students don’t just gain knowledge – they learn how to think critically, collaborate with others, and apply their learning to the real world.
Each unit of inquiry is designed to connect subjects in meaningful ways, helping children see the bigger picture while developing creativity, empathy, and confidence.
With this approach, we prepare our students not only for academic success but also to grow into thoughtful, caring individuals who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.

Life at school is about more than lessons and activities—it’s about helping each child grow into a confident, caring, and capable individual. Through daily interactions, collaborative projects, and real-world experiences, students develop resilience, independence, and a strong sense of responsibility. They learn to work with others, solve problems, and express themselves with confidence and empathy.
We celebrate curiosity, creativity, and individuality, encouraging students to take risks, follow their passions, and discover their strengths. In this supportive environment, children not only thrive academically but also build the social and emotional skills that will help them navigate life beyond the classroom with confidence and joy.
Hello, I’m Claire, Head of Early Years at St. Andrews Green Valley, and I’m so pleased to share a little about our wonderful Early Years program with you. Our goal is simple: to create a nurturing space where your child feels safe, happy, and excited to learn.
In Early Years, every child is seen and celebrated for who they are. With a caring team of teachers, we make sure each child feels supported as they explore, play, and grow. Through hands-on, play-based learning, we help children develop the skills they need for the future while making sure they have fun along the way.
Our outdoor spaces are a big part of this experience – they’re not just an extension of the classroom, but a place where children can explore, learn, and connect with nature in meaningful ways.
We’re so excited to be part of your child’s journey and can’t wait to welcome you both into our Early Years family!
