Spotlight on Student Achievements: From Sports to Arts to Academics

At St. Andrews Green Valley, we believe that education is not a “one size fits all” journey. Our mission is to match a child’s full potential across every imaginable discipline, ensuring that every unique spark is fanned into a flame. Our school serves as a launchpad for student success stories, where our 12-acre green campus and “family community” atmosphere encourage learners to take risks and reach for international excellence. Today, we are celebrating student achievements that span from the high-stakes pressure of the golf course and robotics labs to the world’s most prestigious art and music stages.

Academic Excellence: Leading the Way in Thailand

At the heart of our school student highlights is a relentless commitment to high academic standards, which has established Green Valley as a leader in international education. Renowned for producing the highest academic results in Thailand, our school provides a supportive, high-achieving community for students aged 2 to 18.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the student accomplishments of our recent IB Diploma graduates, whose dedication and perseverance have placed them among the global elite. These results are a testament to our rigorous International Baccalaureate and British curriculum programs, which are designed to give every child the best possible start in life:

  • Cooper (IB 42 Points): Following a successful remark, Cooper’s score rose to an incredible 42 points, placing him in the top 5% of students worldwide.
  • Lily (IB 42 Points): Lily also achieved an outstanding 42 points, demonstrating the high-level excellence that our supportive community nurtures.
  • And so many more

Achievements in Sports, Arts, and Academics: A Diverse Legacy

Our student accomplishments this year reflect the incredible diversity of talent within our community. Whether it is through the physical grit of competitive sports or the technical precision of fine arts, our students continue to prove that they are “future-ready” leaders who lead with both their hearts and their minds. At Green Valley, we don’t just teach subjects; we nurture the resilience needed to “hit the high notes” in life.

The Mastery of the Green: A Historic Victory

The story of student success stories often continues long after graduation. We are incredibly proud to share the journey of our 2023 graduate, Fifa, who recently delivered a historic performance at the 33rd SEA Games held at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills.

High Marks in Creativity: Leading the Nation in Art

While some find their voice on the sports field, others find it through a paintbrush or a lens. Our school student highlights include Alicia, currently in Year 12, who has achieved what many only dream of. Alicia received the Outstanding Pearson Learner Award 2025 for achieving the Highest Mark in Thailand in her International GCSE Art and Design: Fine Art.

This achievement is a direct result of her technical talent combined with the dedication encouraged by our specialist teachers. In our art studios, students are given the space to be brave and take risks, and Alicia’s national-level success is a testament to what happens when creativity is met with unwavering support.

Innovation and Robotics: Engineering the Future

In our rapidly evolving world, student achievements in STEM are more critical than ever. We are beaming with pride for Thanatpat “Putter” (Year 7), who showcased his innovative spirit at the World Robot Olympiad 2025. Competing under the theme “The Future of Robot,” Putter represented Green Valley with a level of creativity and teamwork that earned him a Bronze Award at the Thailand National Final.

His journey through the “Robomission” category is a perfect example of the student success stories we see in our Design and Technology department. From mastering CAD design to soldering complex circuits, our students like Putter are learning that “mistakes are fine” as long as they serve as a ladder to improvement.

The International Stage: Piano and Performance

Music is the heartbeat of Green Valley, and our students are hitting international high notes. Anya, a brilliant Year 3 student, wowed judges at the 12th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival (HKYPA) Thailand Preliminary Round. Earning a Gold Prize and Fifth Place in the Grade 2 category, Anya has secured her spot to perform in the finals in Hong Kong in February 2025.

Similarly, Sandy from Year 5 has clinched 3rd place in the piano competition at the 11th HKYPA festival. These student accomplishments are particularly moving because they reflect a deep passion for self-expression.

Imagination Unleashed: The Fusion of Minds and AI

Beyond the physical and technical, we celebrate the power of imagination. In the FOBISIA Short Story Competition, our young writers explored the futuristic theme of AI. Sandy (Year 5) led the way, representing our primary school with tales that stretched the bounds of “Virtual Realms”. This success highlights how we support students in every talent, encouraging them to bridge the gap between technology and human storytelling.

A Community of Endless Potential

The achievements in sports arts and academics listed above are just a glimpse into the vibrant life of our school. For every student who stands on a podium, there are dozens more who have achieved personal milestones—whether it is completing a solo navigation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or raising funds for local charities like Ban Kru Boonchu.

We recognise that every child has a “high note” to hit. St. Andrews Green Valley has been home to many who achieved greatness, those who are currently making us proud, and those who are yet to achieve their dreams in the years to come. We don’t just celebrate the “stars”; we celebrate the bravery it takes to try, the resilience to get back up after a mistake, and the joy of discovery. Because every student accomplishments are our achievements too.
