At Green Valley, academic results matter. They open doors and give young people choices about what they do next.
But results are only part of the story.
What matters just as much is how students get there – the confidence they build, the challenges they overcome, the relationships they develop with their teachers, and the skills they take with them when they leave school.
That is why we are so pleased to celebrate the IGCSE and IB Diploma results of our Class of 2026.
2026 Results at a Glance
These results represent a great deal of hard work from our students, supported along the way by their teachers and families.
Strong IGCSE Results
Our Year 11 students achieved another strong set of IGCSE results this year, with some excellent individual performances.
Tiffen achieved 11 A*–A grades, while Matilda, Eimi and Alice each achieved 10 A*–A grades. Kenta, Rhianna and Yubin each achieved 7 A*–A grades, with Gerry achieving 6.
These are fantastic achievements, but what we value most is the progress behind them.
Every student starts from a different place. Some subjects come naturally; others require persistence, extra support and plenty of hard work. Our job is to understand each student, challenge them appropriately and help them become increasingly confident and independent learners.
Behind the Results
For Alice, who achieved 10 A*–A grades, that journey included developing her English through Green Valley’s LEAP Programme and growing in confidence as she progressed towards her IGCSEs.
“The LEAP Programme helped me strengthen my English and gave me the confidence to take on my IGCSEs. I’m incredibly grateful to all my IGCSE teachers for their patience and support.”
Eimi, who also achieved 10 A*–A grades, spoke about the satisfaction of seeing her hard work reflected in her results and the support she received from her teachers along the way.
She is now taking the next step at Green Valley through the IB Diploma Programme, with university ahead.
IB Diploma Results 2026
Our graduating students also achieved a strong set of IB Diploma results, with an average Diploma score of 32 points and a highest individual score of 41 points.
Alexandra achieved an excellent 41 points – a fantastic result and the culmination of two years of hard work and commitment.
But one of the things we value about the IB Diploma is that it asks more of students than simply preparing for examinations.
Students learn to manage competing priorities, think critically, research independently, communicate their ideas and take responsibility for their own learning. Those are skills that will matter long after their final IB examination.
More Than a Set of Grades
A good education should give young people choices.
Strong academic results are part of that because they give students access to universities, courses and opportunities around the world.
But we also want our students to leave Green Valley knowing themselves well. We want them to be able to think for themselves, communicate with confidence, work with other people, respond when things don’t go to plan and have the courage to take on something difficult.
That doesn’t happen in the final few months before an examination.
It comes from years of being challenged, encouraged and supported by teachers who know them well.
At Green Valley, being a smaller school means those relationships really matter. Students are known as individuals — their strengths, the areas where they need support and, importantly, when they are capable of more.
That is what Academic Excellence with Purpose means to us. The grades matter, but so does the person achieving them
Ready for What Comes Next
For our graduating students, their IB results are not the end of their Green Valley journey. They are what allows the next one to begin.
Our students will leave us for different universities, countries, courses and careers. There isn’t one definition of success, and there shouldn’t be.
What we hope they share is the confidence to make good choices, the skills to adapt to whatever comes next and the ambition to keep learning.

To our IGCSE and IB students: congratulations.
You should be very proud of your results, but also of everything that went into achieving them – the difficult lessons, the deadlines, the mistakes, the extra help, the determination to keep going and all the small steps that eventually added up to results day.
