When does the school year begin and end?

The school year runs from the end of August to the end of June.

What years are taught at St. Andrews International School, Green Valley?

St. Andrews is open for students aged 2-18 years (Nursery - Year 13).

What curriculum is taught?

The curriculum is a combination of the best of the English National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate. The curriculum has been carefully adapted to suit the requirements of the broad international community at our school.

We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13 and IGCSEs during Years 10 and 11. Through Primary School and Early Years we offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, with English National Curriculum guidelines and benchmarks for progress.

Where is St. Andrews International School, Green Valley located?

The school is set within the Green Valley Country Club, a lush tropical haven, which provides a stimulating, healthy environment for our children. Educating students in the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, the campus is centrally located on the outskirts of Pattaya and Rayong.

How long is the school day?

Nursery is from 8:30 am to 12:20 pm, Kindergarten full day is 8:30 am to 15:20 pm there are also half day options. The rest of the school is Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 15:20 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 14:40pm for Primary and 8:30 am to 3:00 pm for Secondary.

What is the staff to student ratio at St. Andrews?

Nursery 5:1, Kindergarten and Reception 10:1, Year 1 and above 22:1. There is a maximum of 22 children per class with two teaching assistants in Nursery to Reception and one teaching assistant in Years 1 and 2.

What languages are taught?

At St. Andrews there is foreign language instruction in Thai, French, Mandarin and Dutch.

What special assistance is available to students?

St. Andrews offers limited spaces in Special Education Needs and English as an Additional Language Programmes.

When should students apply?

St. Andrews observes rolling admissions. If space allows, children can join the school throughout the year.

What transportation is available?

Parents are welcome to bring and collect their children from school each day, however, if you prefer we also provide a door to door school bus service, depending upon location of the student’s home. St. Andrews offer bus transportation from Pattaya, Rayong and Banchang in air conditioned mini buses with seat belts and adult supervision.
