Meet our Leadership Team

St Andrews, Green Valley is proud of a staff body that is highly qualified and expert in their relative fields. Leading the school and these teams is our Senior Leadership team who, amongst themselves, hold over 60 years of teaching and leadership experience in international schools around the world.

Charles Grayhurst

Head of School

During twenty-five years of working in schools, Mr. Charles Grayhurst has served in multiple senior roles across Asia, including more than a decade of Headship in China, Dubai and Malaysia. Mr. Grayhurst has extensive experience of school leadership and management, which includes the establishment of ‘green’ schools and high levels of pastoral care within school communities. He has particular experience of Thailand and has worked for high profile, premium education groups within the region. He is exceptionally passionate regarding the establishment of high-performance cultures within caring, holistic environments and a focus upon delivering eco-literate curricular.

Mr. Grayhurst is a father of three children, two of which study at St. Andrews International School, Green Valley. He has a passion for music and maintains a home in Vietnam, which he travels to regularly with his family.

Kevin McGee

Assistant Head of School/Head of Secondary School

Kevin joined St. Andrews in August 2010 after 11 years working at two other international schools in Thailand, including seven years as an Assistant Principal. Away from the classroom Kevin enjoys participating in and watching sport as well as cooking and travelling. He is joined at St. Andrews by his wife and two children, one of whom has recently graduated and is attending university, the other who is completing the IB Diploma at St Andrews, Green Valley.

Michelle Taylor

Head of Primary

Michelle joined St Andrews in 2008 after working in a number of UK and international schools in the Middle East. She has successfully taken on management roles including Head of English, Literacy Coordinator and Senior Teacher. In her role as Senior Teacher she was instrumental in assisting the whole school to achieve its Gold status in the CfBT (Education Trust) accreditation. Michelle’s husband also works at St. Andrews and their two sons both attend the school.

Laura Kerr

SENCO and Safeguarding Lead

Laura joined the school after working within both Primary and Secondary SEN in the UK. With 13 years experience and carrying a number of qualifications, including a Postgraduate certificate in Inclusive Education and an MSc Applied Psychology, Laura is passionate about inclusion, SEND and supporting families with their unique and diverse challenges. In her free time, she can often be found wild swimming, learning something new or camping in remote places with her husband and two young children, who also attend the school.
